Musical Theater

We are so excited to bring Musical Theatre to Kids Dance this summer! During this 5 week course students will learn:

• Acting and Character exercises
• A Brief context of historical musical theatre
• Acting in a dance context
• Classic standard choreography to Broadway numbers

Dancers will perform a routine to one or more songs from the following musicals:

• Annie
• Sound of Music
• Mary Poppins
• Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
• Footloose

This class will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:30. Please join us on the last day for a low-key performance here at the studio!

Dates: Tuesday evenings June 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26
Time: 5:00-6:30
Attire: comfortable clothing (no jeans), jazz or ballet shoes, hair up
Cost: $90 (nonrefundable and due at time of registration)
